have been actively involved in producing a TPWS spreadsheet, the purpose of
which is to provide an efficient means of recording the verification of signals
process, it is not only based upon the Network Rail Standards relating to TPWS
but also includes a comments sheet to show your assumptions and a general info
sheet which allows you to record where your base data is taken from.

This spreadsheet is being updated regularly to include any updated
information from Railtrack, please feel free to comment on the spreadsheet as
my excel skills are quite limited !!
Please note some of the sheets are hidden, because they are incomplete in
this point of time.
I would advise you to view this TPWS readme file for latest updates on
the calculator
I would ALSO advise reading the TPWS Frontsheet before attempting to use
the spreadsheet and in response to some of the early queries I've received,
this spreadsheet does not allow you to verify the potential you may or may not
have of getting your groove on with a member of the opposite sex, I can only
apologise because there are no Group/Line standards relating to that subject..
Need to do a Risk Assessment to understand the effectiveness of your TPWS
positioning?, this document has the basic content of a risk assessment, just
substitute the numbers for your own, and Bob's your Uncle, or probably your
Aunty.
